Born and raised in the Philippines, I had always dreamed of traveling the world. So, when the opportunity presented itself, I traveled to the US as an exchange student. My year in Florida taught me a lot about life in the US, living independently, and the expansive hospitality industry.

I returned to the Philippines with my sights set on adventure, and jumped at the chance to join my mother on trips to places like Australia, Japan, and Dubai. After graduating from university, I knew my future held more travel to new places, so I returned to the US for my next adventure. This time, Virginia welcomed me with open arms and introduced me to so many incredible people – including my future husband!

But when I was suddenly furloughed from my job in the hotel industry, I realized that I had to make a choice, and decided it was time to put my hospitality expertise to use and pursue my true passion…
